CII has organised an online Master Class about Talent Acquisition, as part of the series 'Importance of Understanding HR Fundamentals', on 23 October 2013. Mr A Anil Kumar, Director, Zenomic Management Consultancy has spoken on the subject. This session was aimed at helping to understand the recruitment life cycle, importance of employer branding and methods that can be adopted to attract the right talent for the right role in an organisation. The right people at the right place at the right time can make a world of difference to the performance of any organization. Hence, effectiveness of talent acquisition practices need to be emphasised as well as hygiene of all related processes and the nuances of recruitment requirements should be understood and appreciated by the HR team. This session offered insights about the avenues for SMEs to adopt new age recruitment practices and understand the importance of allied processes - such as job descriptions, interview assessments etc.
