CII Tamil Nadu organized a Special Session on Make in India - Defence with Lt Gen Subrata Saha, UYSM, YSM, VSM**, Deputy Chief of the Army Staff (Planning and Systems) at 1800 Hrs (registration) on Monday, 27th June 2016 at Greenways Hall, Hotel Crowne Plaza, Chennai. Lt General Saha was accompanied by a senior level delegation from Army Headquarters, New Delhi.
The objective of the session was to enable Army Headquarters to share information about current and future technologies / product demands with Indian Industry and seek industry’s response towards finalization of these projects.
Lt Gen Subrata Saha addressed the session followed by his delegation highlighting the operations and requirements of the Indian Army. The preceeded an interactive session with CII Members.
The session was attended by more than 40 delegates.
