CII believes that some important issues of concern that need policy reforms for the overall growth of the industry include:

·         MSP to be brought back to reflect international price levels.

·         Do away with incentives for cotton exports.

·         Explore extending the NREGA for textiles.

·         Argue for rationalization of Power tariff across the country.

·         Additional Duty Draw Back and DEPB rates to ensure all state levies are rebated.

·         CENVAT Accumulation to be refunded in cash.

·         Promote FDI in the textiles and Apparels sector.
