Hence science has not reached these people even though they have an equal right to all these," Baldev Raj, president - Research, PSG Institutions, said here on friday. He was speaking at the third edition of "INNOVATOR 2011" of the Confederation of Indian Industry, with the theme 'Think Different, Think Big' at PSG College of Technology. He said the event was an initiative to ignite and nurture innovation among college students.

Mr C R Swaminathan, Chairman, CII Innovator Award 2011, said translation of new ideas into value generation was not a simple process. Innovation was the driving force for the sustainability of the future. But Indians had been traditionally innovation users rather than innovation contributors.
