Mar 06, 2013

The CII Knowledge Summit 2013 , the annual flagship event of the CII Knowledge Council celebrates the 7th year since its launch. This year the Summit is scheduled for 7th & 8th March 2013 at Hotel, the LaLit, Mumbai.

The theme for this year’s summit is KM for Double Digit Growth with the broad focus on What CEOs should know about KM and how CIOs and CKOs can play strategic roles.

The world economy in which we are living poses challenges that lead to a realization that 'more of the same' will be difficult to sustain. In fact the knowledge of an organization walks out the front door every day, with no guarantee of it coming back tomorrow. Agile organizations  must simultaneously develop effective strategies for updating the knowledge of its staff members and build collaboration strategies to collect store disseminate and use knowledge for competitive advantage. CII’s KM Summit will analyse and present successful methods for making this happen.” stated Ganesh Natarajan, Chairman,CII Knowledge Committee 2013  & Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Zensar Technologies who is chairing this event .

This Summit aims to further that dialogue by engaging CEOs and thought leaders in panel discussions. We will also be showcasing leading edge work that leverages the KM community's in-depth understanding of learning and unlearning to better understand knowledge management. Our aim is to stimulate breakthrough research streams linking learning, unlearning and knowledge management. We also intend to explore and build robust linkages between effective knowledge management and world class business outcomes and how it can create an organizational culture devoted to continuous improvement.

The Summit will build on some of the key technology and management trends which are enabling organisations differentiate their offerings in the market place, improve productivity, delivering better margins and reducing response time to win over business and increase customer satisfaction

Over the years, this exclusive summit has been successful in delivering the Knowledge agenda by bringing in top national and international speakers, to deliberate and share information on significant issues concerning the field.
