CII Delhi State Panel on Gender Sensitivity organized its first working session on 24th July 2013 at India Habitat Center, New Delhi

Individuals from Corporates, NGOs , civil society, media, law firms, MSMEs , healthcare sector, hospitality sector, women’s organizations and research institutions participated in the Working session.
 
Ms Poonam Muttreja, Executive Director, Population Foundation of India; Mr Soumen Basu, Board Chair, CORG Advisory; Dr Jacqueline Bhabha, Professor - Practice of Health and Human Rights, Harvard School of Public Health & Director of Research, FXB Center for Health & Human Rights, Harvard University; Ms Valsa Williams, Head - Govt. Affairs and Policy, South Asia, Intel Corporation; and Ms Gopika Pant, Partner, Indian Law Partners were the panelist at the Working session. Mr Virat Bhatia, President – IEA South Asia, AT&T moderated the panel discussion.
 
The topics discussed were Workplace environment, Gender selection and Mentoring women for leadership roles.
 
The session focused on understanding the national and international context and views on current industry scenario, existing policies, trends, work culture, mindsets, and accountability measures that should be taken into account when framing the action plan of the panel for the year.
