Campaign “Show the Ink, See Prices Sink”

To increase voter participation through a radical approach of incentivizing voting and simultaneously, encouraging voters to research their candidates and take an informed decision on voting, Yi Chandigarh Tricity Chapter organized this campaign “Show the ink, See prices sink!!". The Nation goes to polls between April - May 2014. With over 800 million eligible voters and 15 crore first time voters, India cannot afford any voter apathy. An innovative approach was needed to encourage voting. And thus "Show the ink, See prices sink!!" campaign. This campaign incentivized voting by providing discounts to voters across various brands. The offers were available from 11 – 14 April 2014. As the polling in Chandigarh & Panchkula region was on 10 April 2014, so this campaign was done for the voters of Chandigarh & Panchkula region. The voter for the next three days after elections availed discounts, deals, offers by showing their inked finger to the brands / stores that were a part of the campaign. 
 
Brands ranging from Restaurants to Retail participated during this campaign. Details of the brands and their discounts were put up on campaign posters, mailers and Yi Facebook page. Poster designs were provided to be displayed in each outlet. The brands which participated during this campaign were: Nik Baker's, Body Zone Fitness n Spa, Burn Gym, JW Marriot, Toy Hotel, Gusto Café, 1469 Workshop, The You designer wear, Choco date, Bake House, Sangha's Motorcraft, Tejee's studio, Natraj Enterprises, The Majestic Hotel, Affinity Saloon, Hotel Park View, Gourmet Nine, Browser Book Store, Hops N Grains, Spice Town, Sagar Ratna, Whistling Ducks, Sushma Buildtech, Gamers Paradise 70 and Mazena.
