CII is taking a high level CEOs Delegation to Japan from 1st – 2nd June 2016, to accompany Mr Arun Jaitley, Minister of Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information & Broadcasting. The delegation comprises senior industry leaders like Dr Naushad Forbes, President, CII and Co-Chairman, Forbes Marshall Private Limited; Ms Shobana Kamineni, President Designate, CII and Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited; Mr Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, Confederation of Indian Industry; Mr Ajay S Shriram, Past President, CII and Chairman & Sr. Managing Director, DCM Shriram Ltd.; Mr C K Birla, Chairman, C K Birla Group; Mr Atul Punj, Chairman, CII National Committee on Construction; and Chairman, Punj Llyod Ltd.; Mr Amit B Kalyani, Executive Director, Bharat Forge Ltd.; Mr Naohide Takatani, Country Head - Japan, Wipro Ltd. etc.
The various meetings, interactions and conference would target business leaders of Japan who already have some presence in India and also others who could be potential investors.
The delegation would accompany Mr Arun Jaitley, Minister of Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information & Broadcasting to various meetings and interactions in Osaka and Kobe which would include session with Indian diaspora, the Osaka University, Investment Promotion meetings, Closed Door meeting with senior Japanese CEOs, etc.
