To review and interpret policies and provide a forum for interaction within the Office Automation Industry in India and with the concerned government departments, users and supporting industries. To identify and address the issues which can hinder the growth of the office automation manufacturing sectors in India. To work closely with other industry/sector specific associations/bodies to provide a national point of reference for the office automation sector. To promote business opportunities from this sector both in India and abroad. Providing policy inputs to Government on WTO and FTA related matters. To set up a comprehensive database for policy reference. To take up issues related to technological development and work towards setting up an up-to-date technological base in the country across the entire value chain of the office automation sector. To address issues related to standards, quality, environment, etc. To prepare status papers for the industry for planning for the future. To organise seminars/workshop on specific subjects and with greater focus on exposure to international trends and practices for building global competitiveness.

76th CII NR Business Outlook Survey
76th CII Northern Region Business Outlook Survey is a quarterly study conducted to gauge the sentiment in the economy. Earlier, the survey was conducted bi-annually, but from the 74th Survey onwards the study is conducted on a quarterly basis in order to get a more frequent indicator of business sentiment. The current survey gives an outlook on business sentiments for the first quarter of 2011-12 as compared to the last quarter of 2010-11.
