HR Conclave 2014

·    Debating the utility of the New Land Acquisition Act, which came into force with the start of 2014, for industries in Rajasthan BJP's senior leader Narpat Singh Rajvi, who is also a former in-dustries minister said its povisions have only made land more costly and inaccessible for industries.

·    In a CII seminar held in the city, Rajvi said, the Bill is making lan costlier manifolds and therefore making it difficult to set up industrial units.

·        "These are time of high real estate rates, high interest rate, and high tax rates and the new Land Acquisition Act will make land four times as costly.  Under these conditions it would not be easy to run an industrial unit", Rajvi stated categorically.


On the theme of “Managing People in a Changing World: Economy & Technology”, CII Rajasthan and Young Indians Jaipur Chapter successfully organized the 7th edition of HR Conclave on 13-14 February 2014 at Jaipur. The objective of the programme was to evolve innovative HR solutions in today’s economic order and to create linkages between industry and institutes to bridge the quality and quantitative gap.

The programme also featured a CEOs Workshop on the theme Enhancing people performance to drive organizational success which was an exclusive workshop for top management. The Inaugural Session of the programme was addressed by eminent speakers including Mr Kailash Meghwal, Hon’ble Speaker, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Mr Vijay K Thadani, Chief Executive Officer, NIIT Ltd, Mr Dilip Chenoy, Managing Director & CEO, National Skill Development Corporation Ltd & Mr Jayant Davar, Chairman, CII Northern Region & Co-Chairman and Managing Director, Sandhar Technologies Ltd. Mr Ratnesh P Kashyap, Chairman CII Rajasthan chaired the Inaugural Session while Mr Anand Singhal, Vice Chairman CII Rajasthan proposed vote of thanks. More than 250 participants attended the programme.
