Confederation of Indian Industry, Odisha State Office organized FARM2FORK 2014- “National Conference cum Exposition on Agri Business & Food Processing Potential” on 24 January 2013 at Bhubaneswar.

Odisha, with 6.25 million hectors of cultivable land, 10 diverse agro-climatic zones, has tremendous production advantages in agriculture & food processing, with the potential to cultivate a vast range of agricultural products. The state is endowed with rich national resources and 480 K.M of sea coast. These advantages if leveraged optimally, can lead to Odisha becoming a leading producer and supplier of agricultural & food produce.

FARM2FORK 2014 was a unique opportunity to exhibit the strengths and potential of important crops, forest produces, livestock, aquaculture, horticulture, spices & food processing industry of Odisha. FARM2FORK 2014 provided a platform to bring together stakeholders and decision makers from every type of organizations – policy makers, researchers, producers and industry leaders to discuss economic, environmental, policy and societal issues and create new knowledge and an essential full-chain, global perspective for Agri Business & Food Processing in Odisha to realize its inherent potential.
