5th National Standards Conclave
 
 
Description

The 5th National Standards Conclave was held in New Delhi from 18 - 19th June 2018. A key feature of the 5th Conclave was the launch of the Indian National Strategy for Standardization (INSS). 

The Standards Conclave witnessed broad ranging deliberations on the goals identified in the INSS covering the pillars of the Quality ecosystem - Standards development, Conformity Assessment, Accreditation and Metrology, Technical Regulations and SPS Measures, Education and Awareness. The “CII-ASL Study on TBT/SPS Notifications at the WTO” was also released during the Conclave. The study examines technical barriers to trade and sanitary and phyto sanitary measures.
