Today Supply Chain is extending its arm like never before in industrial scenario thereby calling in for vibrant changes in the academic pedagogy as well, with strong industry impact. In current framework of every plant or warehouse operative system, “Supply Chain” functions can be integrated so vividly without any overlap, complementing each other to generate “Supply Chain Surplus” throughout the value chain of any manufacturing or service industry. Deriving ‘Surplus’ in value chain is a cost-effective productivity scale-up, to say the least. More so, in the recent years, the vibrant and progressive developments in Logistics and Supply Chain domain mark a transparent integration of all functions viz.
