The rapid development of new technology has changed the landscape of the media and entertainment sector, which is now a vast economic empire with film, television, print, radio, sports, celebrity management, digital media including internet, live events, advertising, gaming and so on.
As it gains momentum, the role and rule of law becomes more pivotal in this dynamic and maturing sector, to strike a balance between the creative, financial and legal phenomenon. It is here that laws guiding the media and entertainment industry step in.
The handbook seeks to outline the application and evolution of law and identify the key challenges faced by the media and entertainment industry.
