Today, the
Indian Speciality Chemicals Industry is the growth driving sector for the
Indian Chemicals Industry. The importance of availability of feedstock at
competitive prices for the expansion of the Speciality Chemicals Industry
can not be underrated.
Keeping
in view the above, the CII Sub-Committee on Feedstock (Chaired by Mr
Rupark Sarswat, MD, Croda India Company Ltd), under the aegis of CII National
Committee on Chemicals, launched a unique Survey on Feedstock for
Speciality Chemicals in its first meeting held on 20 May 2015 at
Mumbai chaired by Mr N B Godrej, Chairman, CII National Committee
on Chemicals & Managing Director, Godrej Industries Ltd.
Focused
at the speciality chemicals industry in India, the survey aims to take
stock of the top feedstock concerns of the industry and address them
systematically after due consultations.
