The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is happy to announce the launch of the 14^th edition of the CII National HR Excellence Award. This is one of our most important interventions that we offer every year.

CII HR Excellence Award Model encompasses all aspects of human resource management and acts as a practical tool for:

• Positioning HR initiatives, measure current status, and identify gaps to stimulate solutions.

• Improving HR performance practices and capabilities by providing objective feedback for improvement while also facilitating communication and sharing of best practices and information within and among organizations.

• Recognizing organizations for Excellence in Human Resources practices and programs.

The underlying thrust of the CII HR Excellence Award is that the companies do not compete against each other but against the HR Award Model Criteria, and hence the scoring is absolute and not relative.

Participation in the HR Excellence Award Process enables organizations to:

• Vie for recognition of excellence achieved in their HR processes but also obtain detailed feedback of their respective processes, which is provided to each participating organization after the results are announced. This enables the participating organization to further strengthen their HR processes and policies through a thorough gap assessment and analysis.

• Enhance the employer brand, organizations can gain a competitive edge in terms of attracting and retaining top talent, improving employee engagement and productivity. This, in turn, not only enhances the overall image of the employer, but also helps to set the organization apart from its competitors in the eyes of customers and stakeholders.

Participation in the HR Award is complemented by an Assessor Training Workshop for all participating organizations, where the Organization can nominate one participant free of charge on a complimentary basis for the workshop.

Over the past decade, more than 450 organizations have actively taken part and benefited from the HR Excellence Award Assessment Process.
