Boosting exports is key to achieving higher growth and economic prospects. Given the rapidly changing global trade scenario and limited resources, India needs a targeted export strategy that promotes products with potential and identifies key markets. In this paper, CII Research develops a product matrix with select Indian exports at the 4-digit HS code level and also identifies markets where such products would perform the best, by taking into account various filtration factors. The paper also offers specific recommendations for boosting the identified products.
