Since last 3 years , CII in partnership with Government of India (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion and Intellectual Property Office) has been organizing National Intellectual Property Awards-2012 ceremony on the World IP Day (26 April 2012).  

The Awards are given by Indian Patent Office (IPO) to the Indian Organisations, individuals and Institutions to encourage skilled management of an intellectual property portfolio. The Minister for Commerce & Industry gives away the awards every year.Continuing the trend of celebrations, an event being organized on 26 April 2012 at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi.
