Ø       International Symposium on IPR for MSME (17-18 September 2012)

The Confederation of Indian Industry in collaboration with World Intellectual Property Organization and Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises organized a two day National forum   on Intellectual Property  for  Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises , Policy Makers and Facilitation Agencies  on 17-18  September 2012 in New Delhi.

The objective of the Conference was to provide an effective platform to develop a broad understanding of the need to Integrate IP in Innovative Strategic business planning of an MSME and to take the stock of the state of innovation and IP awareness amongst the Indian MSMEs and propose a set of recommendations for the consideration of policy makers and facilitation agencies which will help MSMEs in India become more competitive through innovation and IP asset management. The program was unique as it got participation from Government representatives of MSME from 25 states in India along with MSME Industry & Institutes.
