CII Membership Meet & GST Session in Kakinada
CII organised a Session on “Goods and Services Tax” in Kakinada, today.Mr J Srinivasa Raju, Vice Chairman, CII Visakhapatnam addressed members and briefed the advantage of being a member of CII. The session in Kakinada wassupported by the Coromandel International Ltd.
Mr Bipin Kumar Verma andMr G Jagannadh, from Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Hyderabad presented GST case studies and discussed about the challenges faced by the industries in two years into the GST regime and way forward for the industry is elaborated. A detailed presentation on Interplay of GST with Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) & Customs for Exporters was presented. Also, elaborated on GST annual return & audit requirements, reconciliation statement & audit reports with Kakinada industrial fertinity.
70 participants from different sectors of industry and professionals participated in this session and got benefited.
