Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry (Independent Charge) shares her views on the growth rate of the developing economies, amidst the present global economic situation. The Minister highlights the role played by the developing economies in leading the fourth Industrial revolution and their contribution made in the sectors like IT & ITes, pharmaceutical, automotive, food and agriculture and knowledge based services, in her Address at the Plenary Session 1: “Towards Achieving Sustained Economic and Trade Growth: Can Asia Lead?” at the CII Partnership Summit 2017 held from 27-28 January 2017 at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
