India Showcases Growing Nuclear Capabilities at WNE 2025, Paris
The India Pavilion at the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2025 in Paris was inaugurated today, marking a significant milestone in India’s expanding global engagement in the nuclear energy sector. The Pavilion is jointly organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Embassy of India, Paris.
The Pavilion was inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Sanjeev Singla, Ambassador of India to France & Principality of Monaco in the presence of H.E. Mrs. Sylvie Bermann, President of WNE and former Ambassador of France.
This year, the India Pavilion features more than 10 leading Indian companies and over 20 industry delegates showcasing cutting-edge technologies, engineering excellence, and capabilities in the nuclear sector. The strong participation reflects India’s growing commitment to international collaboration and its focus on advancing nuclear energy as a key element of national energy security.
In his inaugural address, Ambassador Singla emphasized India’s robust economic growth and reiterated the importance of nuclear energy in achieving the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of 100 GW of nuclear power capacity by 2047. He encouraged Indian industries to build global partnerships and explore new business opportunities with international companies, particularly those from France.
Speaking at the occasion, H.E. Mrs. Bermann commended India’s strong presence at WNE 2025 and expressed her commitment to supporting future collaborations with Indian companies.
The participation of companies such as NTPC, BHEL, Kirloskar, L&T, Spectrum, Core Energy, Enpro, Aruna Steels, Hylner, and Boron underscores India’s industrial strength and readiness to engage with the global nuclear supply chain.
As India’s apex industry body, CII continues to play a pivotal role in promoting international partnerships and representing India’s nuclear industry at global platforms. CII and Ambassador Singla has also confirmed its commitment to ensure larger participation at WNE 2027, further strengthening India’s presence in the global nuclear ecosystem.
