CII-BESU Innovation Centre
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in collaboration with Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur (BESU) has established a specialized, professionally managed Centre named “CII-BESU Industrial Research, Innovation and HRD Centre” to facilitate Industry and Academia partnerships for industrial and social benefits in West Bengal. The Centre was launched by Shri Kapil Sibal, Hon’ble Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India, during the 4th CII University-Industry Council Symposium on 1st August 2009. The mission of the Industrial Research Centre is to provide a platform of interdisciplinary teaching and innovative research in the field of science and technology, which can lead to a better integrated R & D delivery system in India.
