IPR Facilitation Centres (IPFCs) - Ahmedabad & Indore
"IPFCs provide handholding support to MSMES/Technoprenuers/Startups/Individual Innovators in the area of IPRs, so that MSMES/Technoprenuers/Startups/Individual Innovators would reach and compete in the global market through enhancing their intellectual capital. The services undertaken by IPFCs are (1) To provide Services such as IP Awareness, Training, Counseling, IP Protection and commercialization.
(2 )To provide hand holding supports to MSMES/Technoprenuers/Startups/Individual Innovators for identifying Intellectual Property in their day to day business & leverage it for Business Excellences.
(3 )Provide a single window system for the protection, incubation and commercialization of technologies, by aligning with the CII Centres of Excellence / TDPCs in different states
(4 )Advisory on infringements and opposition suits
(5 )Brainstorming with MSMES/Technoprenuers/Startups/Individual Innovators in the area of IPR.
IPFCs Ahmedabad and Indore are working closely with SMEs and have demonstrated its value to the SMEs by facilitating more than 1500 IP applications in India and Abroad since inception
The Centre(s) have filed more than 200 patent applications in India; 17 international patents filing through PCT and more than 48 applications under PCT National phase in PCT member countries through network assistance.
The Centre(s) also facilitated in filing of more than 687 Trademarks (including Vibrant Gujarat logo & word mark, Govt of Gujarat, Dholera logo and word mark, Govt of Gujarat), 1500 Industrial Designs and 51 copyright applications. And facilitated towards GI registration of Ratlam Sev, Kaddaknath Black Chicken, Bagh Print, under Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and Protection) Act, 1999, India."
