Launched in 2019, CII’s Market Facilitation Services (MFS) is a fee-based, bespoke market research and consulting service that undertakes company- and product-specific research on export markets and investment destinations, for both outbound and inbound companies.

The consulting services offered by the MFS desk include the following:
1. Assessment of Export Markets:
With the objective of providing members incisive insights on the export potential of identified products at the 6-digit
HS Code level, these reports offer:
o Research on business intelligence and strategic analyses of global markets to highlight product-level export potential
o Ready-to-use quantitative and qualitative analyses for international business strategy formulation and expansion
2. Market and Sectoral Analyses
o Customised market research on countries and sectors to help globalising Indian companies assess new geographies and market segments
o Structured analyses to highlight growth potential and addressable market size for sectors and products,
sector-specific risks, and an understanding of competitive landscapes
3. Market Entry/Investment Advisory

All the above services also encompass identification of potential partners and buyers for the relevant products and services.
Further, early in 2023, the MFS desk started its India Advisory Services (IAS) that focusses on working with inbound investment, offering location advisory, customer identification, partner and buyer search and on-the-ground facilitation services at the Central and state government levels, to ensure a seamless and comprehensive roll-out of foreign companies’ India operations.
