CII Western Region adopted the theme “India@75 - Pivoting on Competitiveness, Skilling & Sustainability for Economic Development and Growth” for the year 2022-23. CII in the western states of Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will continue to engage closely with the state governments, members and key stakeholders as it works on important initiatives under these focus areas. The four state councils will also work in close coordination with their respective state governments to undertake initiatives aimed at promoting potential investment opportunities. All these efforts will pave the way for a stronger Western Region contribution towards achieving the vision of 'Atma Nirbhar Bharat'.
In the last two months, CII Western Region facilitated some very interesting initiatives to aid industrial growth and development. These included the Excon Roadshows held across the region, JNPA SEZ Investor Conclave, Madhya
Pradesh Autoshow 2022 and CII Kaizen Competition Regional Finals. Several government interactions were also held across the Western Region states to deliberate on the concerns faced by members and critical policy matters.
This edition of Pascheem features a cover story on the CII Western Region Annual Meeting 2022. The magazine also carries views of subject matter experts on topics like sustainability and taxation among others. In addition, we have the regular features on economy, technology, and past and forthcoming CII initiatives in the Western Region.
