CII has taken up the theme ‘Building India for a New World: Lives, Livelihoods, Growth’ for channelizing its initiatives for the year 2020 - 21. The CII theme identifies 10 key lenses that will pave the way for India’s growth and will be the cornerstone for realising the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
This edition of the CII Policy Watch explores these 10 lenses, which broadly include - Protecting Lives and Livelihoods; Prioritisation of Healthcare and Education; Mother Nature; Fiscal Deficit; Distribution of Economic Pain; Digital vs Physical; Future of Jobs and Social Security; Rural - urban rebalance; Four levers of growth; and Getting Growth Back, and provides CII’s recommendations in each of these areas. The issue also captures the views of key industry leaders on growth in their respective sectors.
