Madhya Pradesh is one of the best performing states in India for last seven years having an unmatched investment climate. The state fares well on all universally accepted investment parameters such as location, soil condition, weather, presence of mineral resources, skilled man power, good governance, conducive policies, law and order.
Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he had resolved to make Madhya Pradesh a developed state which will be known for peace, harmony, solidarity and economic prosperity. “We are making sincere efforts to develop MP as one of the top ranking states of India in terms of socio-economic development,” he said. He was speaking at the mega event organized by the Confederation of Indian Industries partnered by Department of Industrial policy and promotion and Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh has entered into a phase of accelerated socio-economic growth over the last decade. Smt Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Minister for Commerce, Industries and Employment said that the transparent policies, investments in developing infrastructure, human capital development initiatives, technological advancement, good governance and progressive institutions have been playing a key role to make the growth in Madhya Pradesh inclusive and sustainable. Proactive measures and reforms have laid the foundation of a healthy investment climate in the state.
The Madhya Pradesh Investment seminar saw the presence of large number of industrialists and businessmen and the intent of the government was apparent by the presence of the top Government officials of the state. The Chief Secretary, Mr Anthony J C DeSa extended his support for making every business of Make in Madhya Pradesh a success story. Mr Mohammed Suleman, Principal Secretary, Commerce, industry and Employment outlined the Industrial policy and said that as part of Infrastructure development the government planned to connect all villages with all-weather roads and make the state highways world class. He said that the Government wanted to make the state a leader in generation and use of renewable energy and green technologies.
