The Indian textile industry is poised for strong growth, given the strong domestic consumption as well as export demand. As a result, information and analysis of past and evolving trends is important for all stakeholders in the textiles sector. Therefore, to meet the ever growing & diversified range of information requirements of the sector, CII has prepared the ‘Indian Textiles Statistics & Yearbook 2014’.
This publication is divided in to three sections: Expert’s Viewpoints, Industry Updates and Textile Statistics. The statistics part is further categorized in to Overall Textile Statistics and Statistics by Product Type.
Some comprehensive unique data tables that are covered in the publication include: tariff and customs duties, anti-dumping duties, duty concessions under each trade agreement (which are update till the latest notifications), information on completed/ outstanding/ stalled/ new projects and corporate performance etc. among others.
This document would serve as a reference guide and a one-stop-shop for all the textiles related data for all the stakeholders in the textile sector eco system.
