Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with its Knowledge Partner, TATA Strategic Management Group (TSMG) released a publication titled “Unlocking the Potential - Skilling for Employability and Growth” against the backdrop of the Northern Regional Skills Summit organised by CII on 10 March, 2014 at New Delhi.
The report aims to probe the key issues and challenges pertinent to the skill development sector in the northern region and to arrive at key action pointers. It presents a broad overview of the skill and vocational training sector in the Northern region. The focus is on identifying challenges to the sector and discussing ways to tackle the same. The study also provides a broad framework and the role to be played by various stakeholders for scaling up best practices from the region as well as across the globe.
