As you are aware, Jammu & Kashmir has been severely hit by heavy rains and flash floods at many places in the State causing loss of valuable lives and properties.
The Central / State Governments, District Administration, Defence forces & NDRF are fully involved in the relief measures. CII is in touch with the local administration to provide immediate relief items as well as look at some concrete rehabilitation projects in due course.
The loss is tremendous and needs our help today. CII & its membership have always stood by our fellow citizens at the time of such crisis.
I would, therefore, request members for their support towards the CII J&K relief measures by contributing cash / in kind. The CII Members have always extended whole hearted support towards the relief and rehabilitation of the victims of similar natural calamities.
All efforts are being done under the aegis of CII Foundation and would be undertaking the Rehabilitation work.
