Africa bears 24% of the global disease burden but has access to only about 3% of the world’s health workforce and less than 1% of global health expenditure. India’s role in generic medicines, digital health systems can contribute significantly to capacity-building and local production. This session highlights opportunities for co-developing healthcare infrastructure, pharmaceutical production, skill transfer, and innovative delivery models, including mobile health and telemedicine platforms.
